Flying Giraffe

I am Red Socke and I play a child avatar on Second Life and loved going to music events. I had two adopted family members, Harmonia Trefoil and Casper Paperdoll, that perform live and allowed me to play with them. My adopted sister took me to a tribute band show of Pink Floyd. After that music became my life pretty much on Second Life. I was thinking and decided I wanted to have a place where I could just put music on the stream and play at my hearts content. I decided to build me a place in the sky with a stage and all in order to do that. As I was building the platform I received help from the drummer of Pink Floyd who I had become friends with, and got a crazy idea to have Pink Floyd play for me there, then that dream grew to having Harmonia and Casper sing there live for me, and then to also having my favorite singer, at the time, Kim Seifert sing. After I achieved having all those dreams come true, and another dear friend introduced me to Tim Anadyr, another live performer and I had him perform and he agreed to perform weekly it has grown greatly. I have had a lot of help from many friends to learn the things you need to know and am still learning, yet I have done well enough I moved from the platform in the sky to land, and a place that I built.
We had our Re-Grand Opening of our live performance venue. Saturday. September 12, 2009 with performances by 6 Second Life greats including CQ Bravin, Phil Setner, Lolene Quicksand, ElvisAronPresley Lisa, CTM Underwood, Harmonia Trefoil and MarcusAurelius Merlin, and also including our always 7Seas Fishing through the back of our building. It was a smashing success.
Feel more than willing to come by … we have a lot of fun and have strived to have the most relaxed atmosphere possible. All ages and avatar types are welcome and wanted.
